Open to the public and founded in 1968, the Morristown Gun Club—located behind Ahlman’s Gun Shop—has a long tradition of offering clay target trap shooting opportunities for shooters of all experience levels.
The club is fully volunteer-run and promotes safety awareness through the challenges of trap shooting.
As a longtime Board of Directors member shared:
“It’s a safe place to advance one’s experience and skill in properly handling firearms.”
About the Club
Since its inception, the club has prided itself on:
- Responsible firearm ownership
- Hunting ethics and traditions
- Safety awareness and education
- Mentoring youth in meaningful outdoor activities
New to Trap Shooting?
No worries—come out and give it a try.
Experienced members are happy to help new shooters learn the sport one-on-one. Even if you don’t own a shotgun, some members may allow you to try theirs.
Please note: The club does not rent firearms.
